The Hanley Family Foundation’s mission is to advance the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism, chemical dependency and addictive behavior, including support for related research and education.
The Hanley Family Foundation (HFF) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation that supports other charitable organizations that share our mission. We recognize that substance use disorder touches nearly everyone in some way and can become a part of anyone’s life.
Each year we make grants to organizations in the United States that are themselves tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) and that qualify as public charities as described in Section 509(a)(1), (2) or (3). At present, we are making grants to qualified organizations whose primary purpose is to operate treatment programs to help individuals recover from alcoholism, drug addiction, and other forms of substance use disorder. Letters of inquiry and grant requests must be submitted online.
